I rarely have this lens on the camera but it really does an excellent job. This was taken on Saturday at a Rutan aircraft get together in Kanab, UT. Only cropped.

Does anyone find that vignetting becomes more of a problem with 17mm on a FF?

Could anyone do me a shot of x scene at 24mm and then move out to 17mm and take exactly the same shot. Well, same position...you know what I mean?

Cool shot man. What kind of post processing was done here? Did you desaturate the greens? Love the blown lighting as well.

17-40L + 5D = great combo. I use it almost exclusively for interior architecture of my client's product installations. The only problems I've had is occasional, strange flaring from small bright light sources (like very bright recessed ceiling fixtures.) For my purposes, IQ of the 17-40 is every bit as good as the much more expensive 16-35.

Terriyaki's shot is very typical of what I get with this lens...

RikWriter:

The first shot (single rock pointing up with fantastic blue sky)....I love it. Any chance you could do me a 1900x1200 version of that for my desktop? :-)
