40D settings for the Noob?

Is there a way to set the camera so that the * button does the focusing? My hands seem to small to use the AF-ON button for focusing.

Never mind, I just answered my own question!!

What was the answer? I am used to my 5D and trying to set the 40D to use * to focus. Were you able to do it? If so, how?

C.FnIV:2 enable.

Can some one please point me to a list of all the current CF options on the 40D.
I shoot with the XTi and would love to know what other options there are

One that i really would like to know is the one to not fire flash but use hot shoe flash AF metering
Cant seem to find info on either the metering Cf or the list of CFs
