Ive already went to the archives to check out sample shots from the FIDY 1.4 and like the results.

What I would really like to see is the lens wide open on a 5D.

If you have both could you post some pics of the lens wide open on the 5D?

I just got back from the local camera joint and got to try it out on a 5D but since it was raining, couldnt take it out and get it in natural lighting. I like the look of that smooth blur:D

Thank yous all.

A example of mine. Can't say it's the best example, but it gives you an idea of the bokeh and distance involved.

cant afford the 85L and actually sold the 85 1.8...the FIDY seems like a good fit for what I shoot. Sorry, the L isnt what Im lookin for....although te bokeh and DOF is cool.

Here are two of mine.. nothing special though..

Thx to Sootyvrs (and all the other POTNers) for making me get the 5D.. I still need to learn how to properly focus (e.g. faces) at f/1.4. It's different than with my 350D. ;-)a
