As a proud 5D owner, I need to ask the question......Why Did Canon feel the need to Make the 5D MK II when the original was almost perfect ( dust problem) why the new one?

Why not? Not too many pieces of technology out there that doesnt have a sequel or v.2. Cameras are no different.
