My first time there.
Funny thing is (and really, it's unforgivable) I have lived in Calgary my entire life, which is maybe an hour and a half away.

So I've only been taking photographs as a hobby for a few weeks now.
I've been learning to use my camera on my own so far, but I do plan on taking some classes to better understand the whole iso, f stop and all that jazz.(Canon Digital Rebel XTi, sigma 18-200 mm lens and a circular polarizer)

Here's a few shots I'm kinda proud of.

Took this while near the top of Tunnel Mountain which ironically has no tunnels.

The view from the other side of the mountain. That's Banff down below.

Some trees on the mountain. I tried to get the whole silly "mystical shiney light through the shadows" look.

My friend. Candid photo attack.

Next purchase is a tripod and a Graduated neutral density filter (I belive that's what it's called) .

Oh the first one is a cracker. Well done. I love the whole thing. The river and fields in the forground, the clouds and the shaddows they cast in the middle and the little branches at top of shot. Great photo.
