As of right now here's the deal. This weekend is a no go for me unfortunatly and also the weekend of the 20th and 27th of October. I really hope I can make this one but if those are the only weekends that work for everyone else I'll understand, ya cant win em all right? Hope to see you all soon.

Yes I will also not be able to make it this weekend. Have some paying photo jobs to be at sat and sun. Will keep checking if something get rescheduled though.

That polar baby is a blast. I was there over the summer (didn't have the xti with me) and he was diving into the pool at his momma. I did get a cheap shot of it withmy P&S though.

I was just telling the wife that I want to go to the zoo with the 100-400 I got. I may even head over sometime this week.

I'm only good in October; this month is out completely. (and so is October 14th)

Either date should work for me, it'll be a good op to test out my new 40D:p. Hmm also curious where the big C is and Ed DiLo. Looks like it's time to do some sleuthing.

The zoo sounds great. Any date but the 6th for me as I'll just be returning from Florida that evening. My schedule is wide open after that.

We can make the 13th at the zoo. My 40d will like the new creature to photograph

Ok, can we finalize Saturday Oct.13th at Brookfield Zoo?

If so we can start a thread about the meet, get maps and admission prices posted etc.

I'd love to meet up with you guys at Brookfield. Is it going to be 10/13? I'd be available on the 13th -- the weekend before I'm at a dog show and the weekend after I'm going to the Civil War Reenactment at Dollinger's Farm.

So far it looks like that date is good for everyone

We will wait till a few more chime in and set in in stone

so far that looks like it will work for me.

Unfortunately that is the only weekend I have booked in October. I am shooting a on a film set that weekend.
