Here is my attempt at HDR. Took it the first day I got my wrx. Any suggestions on how to improve it?

If "Yosemite Sam" had a real Canon, he'd shoot that rabbit every time! Come spring, my ferret and I are loading the 40D and, well... we're going weasel hunting.

I do see the difference between the 2 in your example. It's not huge, but there is a difference. And I can only imagine there would be further difference if done by 3 original RAW files. I appreciate your time to show me this. DreDaze I have now tried the Dynamic Photo HDR program. I am still having the same issue.. only difference is my pockets are less full. LOL I do however like the program. It works great for me with JPEGs. I hope the problem is a faulty me, not a faulty camera... I have a strong feeling that I could more easily be replaced... and would be if I bought another camera. Here is an example of my new JPEG done HDR with the Dynamic software. Is it possible it could be a compatibility issue with my video chip set? (This is a laptop after all). Thanks again all. If "Yosemite Sam" had a real Canon, he'd shoot that rabbit every time! I love the winter stream and tank a few pages back, but there isn't a bad picture in the bunch! I haven't tried HDR yet, but I'm heading out to Big Bend National Park this week and hoping I can get some good chances at some great HDR shots

Mar 10, 2008 05:32 | #352 I just found out what HDR images are and they are fantastic.I have heard of the term before but didn't really take notice. Ok now I am going to try this it is why some pics I see are so good "The poetry of photgraphy will always be more important than mechanics of the camera... you see the picture is taken with the eye,the heart. The most sophisticated camera in the world can never replace this." If you look real closely to the front left bumper of the car... there seems to be someone in the middle of the street taking a dump. You may wish to photoshop that out. ![]() I'm just playing. I wish mine came out that good. ![]() HAHAHAH that's hilarious. Yeah, maybe I shouldn't have taken the picture from so close. 50d | EFS 17-55mm 2.8 IS | EF 50mm f/1.8 | EF 135L 2.0| EF 85mm f/1.8 | 580 EX II | AB800

While there are some crackers in the thread, a few look like the "Shadow & Highlights" tool was cranked up a little too much. Maybe I'm just picky :S

I am guilty of "Shadow/Highlight crimes against HDR" But some of them look pretty cool IMO. Yours is absolutely stunning! I love that shot. Great work. John
