I've been researchin and contemplating which bag to pick up. I'm looking for something big enough to hold a 30D with a 24-70 attached, a 70-200/2.8 and a rocket blower. I'm torn between the 6MDH and the 7MDH. Does anybody have the 6MDH and carry a 70-200/2.8 comfortably or is it a tight squeeze or does it not fit at all?

I have a 6MDH and often carry a 70-200 IS, 5D with grip and 24-105 mounted and still have room for another lens/flash, spare batteries, filters, CF wallet and other bits and pieces. I have even fit the 70-200 with the 1.4TC mounted, although this was pushing it a bit.

So, the 70-200 will easily fit (unmounted). The 6MDH is a great bag!

6MDH for what you have. 7MDH if you plan to grow soon and 70-200 attached. You can check out my 7MDH review following the link in my sig

I LOVE the 7MDH. I usually carry my 5D with 24-70 or 24-105 attached and still have plent of room for 2-3 more lenses plus accessories.

Get the 7MDH. I have it and find it to holds everything I need w room for expansion. It holds my 30D w 24-105 attached and I carry my 70-200 in it's carrying case. Also have a 1.4X and room enough for the 580EX when I get it. Nice bag....not perfect but will do until something better comes along.

Thanks for all the help! Really nice review Avarena :D

I've decided to go with a 6MDH to take with me to local airshows, zoo trips, aviary trips, wildlife/landscape trips, etc... where I'd take just enough gear with me but not be weighed down so much. I'll probably wish I had a 7MDH in the future though!

This was a helpful thread, thank you guys. I own the SlingShot 200AW and I can say it is a great little thing and the swing works for me to access the camera or other stuff. Two things annoy me, 1. I ruined all my suits with the SlingShot as the Velcro on the back is just no good. 2. You can only carry the sling over the right shoulder and after a while it gets to heavy.

So my point is, I am headed for the Crumpler 6/7MDH or whatever is equivalent to it in Europe and a Crumpler Pyjama Pride backpack.

Peace out.

Used to have the 200AW and switch to the 7MDH. Love it so much more!

I have the 100AW now for my small lenses and I'm thinking of picking up another 70-300 APO for the bag just so if I go out for anything I have from 10-300 fl with me. I take my camera everywhere for anything so it's like a boy scout motto, always be prepared.

I carry my 70-200 f/4 in my 6MDH. It is somewhat of a tight squeeze. I'd go with the 7 if you plan on picking up anything else or just want things to fit more comfortably.

I keep asking people, what is the most closest model to the 7MDH in Europe?? Is it the Daily XXXL???
