Took a little walk around my little Town this past week-end and snapped a few shots.

Looking up the River at some Kayakers.

Lets rent a kayak and join the fun on the river.

After hitting the pub a little church going might be in line.

The pictures just don't really do it for me. The subjects are kinda weak.

Thanks for sharing some photos of your town, Sandy. It looks so relaxing as compared to where I live. I may be taking a drive in Connecticut soon though, for the fall foliage.

Thanks; It is pretty peaceful most of the time. Enjoy your trip through Connecticut, if you're coming at foliage time make sure you go up through Litchfield County (Rte 7).

really peacfull looking place sandy, i need to get my butt up to that end of the state some more... your town should use these on their website!! maybe enter these into some of the contests for local magazines and news papers, these are really nice, they show the viewer a good view of the town... and what it has to offer.

Thanks Craig and Marie for your comments. Peaceful and quiet it is, at least for the time being, a travel magazine just wrote an article on the 10 coolest towns in the USA and this town was listed. I expect a lot of turkeys will now be marching up the street, and not just the feathered ones.   ;)

Thought I'd post another one. I call this "The reflection of my soul, the Towns that is." The reflection of the factory building is a part of the old factory that started the village back in 1826. Now it houses an antiques and collectables business.
