Well it looks a lot like the Rainbow Bee Eaters that are just about to arrive in Southern West Australia.

So your is a SA native. As these naturalised in NZ or did you take it while in SA?

Taken in South Africa - common bird in the Kruger National Park.

Think so - people from Nelspruit should know? They are all over the area breeding in earthen embankments?
