Nathan Can you repeat the question, please? More info | Sep 06, 2007 22:15 | #33 All I picked up was a 2GB Extreme III CF and a reader - both for about $53 on Amazon. They arrived before the camera did! Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

I kinda like having a built in flash on one of my cameras and the puffer works extremely well. Even avoids "lens hood shadow" in flash pics. Also, the batterry pack ( the old BG-E2 works just fine) is a must as the camera feels a little like a pistol with too short a hand grip without it. So far, I am loving the new camera. As this is my first foray into the world of DSLR I had to go shopping for some extra stuff as soon as it arrived - before even breaking the seal on the box. Photowebby

Is that mostly for back-up purposes? Do they fail that often? In2Photos wrote in post #3873056 Well I don't have one but am hoping to get one later this year. When I do I will definitely be getting the following: 2. Grip 3. Extra 3 batteries. 4. Another charger. I might also pick up a few more CF cards, but I have 7GB now so that will likely be OK to start.
