This one will take a body with the 70-200 on, a flash and a couple of lenses and can be worn as a backpack. Will be perfect to bring the stuff when I shoot ice hockey. Kameras, lenses and other stuff

And by the way, the word everyone should be using is complement, not compliment. Second charger or dual battery chargers due to the fact that when you have the grip, it houses two batteries at the same time. With that, you would need an additional two batteries as backup. With that, you would need an additional two batteries as backup. Best practice is to charge two, while two are in the grip. Hence, when people say, they need to order 3 more batteries and 1 more charger. You do the math. You can get away with 1 charger but that means more time managing the charging of your batteries when 2 chargers can be done at he same time. There are dual battery chargers out there as well but from what I have heard, they charge individually at a time. Both batteries in the charger but it charges one at a time. I inquired about this for this seems to be a neat thing but then if you think about it, what if it breaks on you. You're screwed! At least if one breaks on me, I have another for backup. I understand, thanks.

I already have the grip, batteries, memory cards from my 20d, so the next purchase will be a lens, possibly a Sigma 100-300mm. B&H, Adorama, Beach, etc. The charger, just like the batteries, is not the same as the XTi. Only the 10D, 20D, 30D, and 300D are the same as the 40D. My 5D uses the same batteries and charger as well

BTW the Coupler 400 that came with the 60 D, its compatible with 40 D I checked with Canon yesterday. In case you are not familiar the Couple looks like a regular battery for the 40D except at the other you can connect to AC and can run it for many use including LiveView
