I would have never guessed they were taken at ISO 3200!

The first one was at ISO 1600 the second was 3200.They turned out a lot better than I ever thought they would. The IS on this lens may be a 1st generation design but it did a great job.I have some taken at 1/120th at 400mm that turned out really good.

Big bird. I shot for 3 days at the Chino Planes of Fame airshow in southern California. Got some great shots. I also used the 300, but really like the ability to crop with the zoom. Got several shots with the 300 that were too tight and cutoff a vital portion of the aircraft.

Flying Fortress! I would LOVE to have a chance to get in one of those!

A couple years ago, I had the honor of going for a flight in a B-25 Bomber, "The Pacific Prowler". That was a real treat, let me tell ya!

OMG. I had been in and out of McRitchie for years as a jogger. Never seen this before. You have very sharp eyes.

Nice and sharp for the conditions. How do you get enough depth of field to get the nose to tail in focus- that's one big *ss jet! ;)

It's so well proportioned it actually looks a bit short, not gigantic as it really is!

Nice ones, lensmen! It's very cool to get a nice close sharp shot from those planes!
