When you have the ability to go 201-400, you'll realize you're there quite often...

Agree completely also!

For me it was a choice of 70-200 2.8 or this. For the sort of things I shoot, I made the right choice. I would still however find it very useful to also have the 70-200 2.8 (esp V2) but then it would need a convertor to make my 100-400 totally redundant.......but that's a lot of $

Sydney airport a few months back in really crappy weather.

Northrop T-38 Talon's heading home to Beale AFB from Willie/KIWA. This lens works very well on the 7D.

Great exposure on the Beale T-38s. The black and red combo is a tough shot- even in good lighting. Looks sharp as a tack! Speaking of beale, I plan to be at the airshow Saturday.(30 April)

wow Jay, that duckling pic is awesome just as a duckling pic, but I think what gives it the wow factor is the mosquitoes on the left side in perfect focus next to the little puff. Awesome, even if it WAS an accident.

Thanks Keith - I got very lucky on the lighting and angle. Some times things just work out.

wow drumsfield, if it wasn't for the ripples effecting the reflections I'd say that you shopped that reflection. Beautiful shot!
