I can't really nail one that slow yet of moving stuff, but 1/50th @340mm of an RC plane whizzing by, and 50th at 200mm of the little Jabiru rolling out.

I have tried a monopod a few times, but I always find myself unhooking it and going handheld. If the problem some have is physically handholding the lens then I understand as it is a big lump, but a few years back I could never take a shot like this because I never practiced it. I still miss a lot of shots at these speeds of course, and it is my lower limit, but I'm still working on nailing that 1/30 th shot one day! For still shots, yeah 1/30th is more than doable for me if I lock in nicely and haven't had too many Redbulls! :lol:

Taken April 22nd with my friends magnificent 100-400L. Struggling to decided between this and the 70-200f/2.8L IS with 1.4 TC or 1.5
