Well I already have an "L" Addiction, my collection includes the 70-200 f/2.8L IS which is awesome but just not long enough for me. So I'm sure that this will produce some impressive results, I just wonder how hard it is going to be to get used to the push / pull zoom compared to all of the others I have. My Online Gallery

Coincidentally I am going to a local zoo tomorrow, hopefully Fed Ex shows up before I leave. Just speaking for myself here, but I find the push-pull easier to use then the normal rotating zoom mechanisms. 7D, EOS-M, 100-400 L, 15-85, Tokina 11-16 2.8, EF-M 11-22, 55-200

No rotating zoom is as fast or intuitive to use after some practice. Seconded, its a pro on this lens for most uses, not a con Gear, New and Old! RAW Club Member

tonylong ...winded ![]() More info | Apr 16, 2009 18:31 | #1454 As far as the push-pull, not only is it quite usable, but it really helps make this a usable walk-around lens. Just be sure to have your friction adjustment (whatever it's called) tight enough so it doesn't extend/retract on its own. Tony
