The sun was reeking havoc on the meter. The settings would change from one side of the field to the other and I just wouldn't be able to get anything but silhouettes or white blobs depending on where the plane was. As for tips, there really aren't any. Keep in mind the sun's position, shoot with a CPL if you can (even if you don't use it correctly) it helps reduce flare and glare, as well as eliminates enough light to allow for 1/200-1/250th for prop blur without maxing the cameras capabilities. I have a CPL thankfully....and 1/200-1/250 for prop blur [Thankfully i have IS] Gear, New and Old! RAW Club Member
