For people in the SoCal area and cant wait for shipping.....

Picked up a 40D (body only) today for 1299 out the door at Samys LA (fairfax)

came with free stuff:
-silk tri pod
-1GB Dane Elec CF card
-small bag
-300 free prints 4X6

they had a few left 40Ds left

Scammies in Pasadena only has the kit with 28-135IS for $1499.
No body only though.
