Good series. Missed the face/eye focus in #1 but the rest are lovely. Very unusual to get a DIF from above :). For reasons I'm not too sure about think the caterpillar shot is wonderful.

Hiya Trevor,

Good series of shots, love the DIF shot, but I, like Brian like #5 best of all.

I had to laugh as this sorta reminds me of when I was a kid, we used to be able to buy a Lemon Sherbet Dip by the 1/4 Lb. & with it you'd get a Licorice Stick to lick & dip with, of course we'd all get our faces covered in the stuff :lol:
Anyone else remember the stuff?

Cheers for now
Mark

Hi Mark, I remember a hard candy stick that you dipped into powdered candy. Thanks for commenting!

Thanks Bill. You are right, it is pollen, but dont feel bad for the cat. he was either eating the pollen , or the stamens underneath the pollen :D

I had to laugh at everyone's description of the larva covered in pollen as that's just what I thought of. My youngest sister, when she was four or five, used to plaster herself with ice cream exactly like that, and it made me immediately think of her. Fortunately I post under a pseudonym or she would never forgive me. :)
The bees don't doo much for me but love the dragonfly.
