Great thread, there are to few advice threads like this around and I know that I could certainly use the advice, do you have anywhere local where you go? And if so do you set up feeding stations there or just let the birds feed on what nature has provided?. Oh and you take great photos as well, no need to be modest.

i have a few local spots that i go to like Plum Island, Great meadows and other places in Mass. as for setting up feeding stations, i don't do that. i let nature do what it does best and just hope that i get the pleasure of capturing it.

Good stuff Snir, and great shots. But do you know how hard it is to find a real bean bag? Most of them are filled with soft squishy foam now. :)

Might just have to buy a couple pounds of real beans or rice, maybe put a zipper in the bag so I can get at them for emergency rations. Or fill it with M&M's ;)
