Great pictures... I really like them, favorite is the used-paper-salesman, except for his moving hand... that's a bit distracting, the quilt-makers are a bit dark.

Please explain what a 'used-paper-salesman' does, and who he does sell the paper to?

The cotton seller and the used paper salesman really catch my eye. To me the cotton salesman photo really captures the mood of the moment.

It's hot, I have a lot of cotton to get rid of, and I will sit in shade of my big bag until the moment comes I can make a sale!

I have a very limited point of view to discuss the intricacies of photography but I really like those two photos.

Cheers,
LeBaron

Was meaning to ask, what camera did you use to take these photos?

Thanks for the comments. Can't answer your question though. My arabic isn't good enough. Go tthe idea that everyone canbuy used paper with him or have things made of the paper.

The quilt makers are a little dark, but the pic was taken under a kind of support structure. Didn't want to flash the atmosphere away.

yep... flash would have killed the pic...
guess some PS-tweaking can handle the darkness

Ah I envy you, you're living in countries with a lot of interesting subjects...
heat (everything above 30celcius, I prefer near 20 though) kills me, so I guess I'll shoot these subjects only in snowy winter in the arabian countries
