I recieved my Canon 100 2.8 macro yesterday. Great lens, super sharp. Had a bit of a scare, though. I heard the UPS truck pull up, and as I was opening the door, I heard the driver utter a loud "$H!T!". As I stepped out the front door, I saw my BH Photo box rolling in the street. "$H!T is right", I was thinking. "Hope there is nuthin too expensive in here" ,he says. "Just a $500 camera lens", I say and after he realizes I am not kidding, he gets a little pale. I open the box while he is still there and it is packed VERY well, surrounded by airbags, so all was well. Box made it 800 miles from New Yofk to my driveway, but almost couldn't make it the last 20 ft.
Anyway, the wind was a howlin' so I was stuck inside to play, so I tried some of Brian's (Lord V) macro exercises.
. Have fun with the lens, I just wish I owned one 
, oh well all in good time right. Looking good even with the UPS guys fumble.
