I was inspired by LordVs drops with bugs sitting on them so i gave it a go.

Heres my first results. my dam ISO was on 400 though from yesterdays bird shooting so im going out again now to try it again CHEERS FOR LOOKING:D:D

any tips..i cant do this dont matter how much i try..there crap every time i take em..was that with flash..?how far was backgrownd away fomr flower..

Now come on Lance. This is really going too far. Not only is the flower in the water droplet sharp but you've nailed the aphid as well. Spill the beans and put Macro Junkie out of his misery and me out of mine. How's it done? :)

Wow that actually looks terrible after it ras reduced for size. thats 1 thing i cant do at all is make it under 100kb without it looking like the cat chewed it.

ISO-100
Shutter-1/200
anywhere from 1x-3x mag for me
and the flower depends how big it is but from about 1cm-4cm behind the drop i guess. smaller drops seam to work better for me AFTER I FIND THEM IN THE VIEW FINDER

ARGHHHH Y IS IT DOING THAT?!?!?!?:evil: it looks terrible everytime i upload it. it looks way better on my screen and then even after i save it reduced it looks ok but when i upload it it goes all blotchy and paint like in appearance. any1 help me with this? would b much appreciated

I've always used photobucket with no problems, but have no flickr experience. One or the other...whichever. If he says it's better he's apparently used both.
