anyone know when it will be available

are they reputable? i have never used them before.

why not just pick up the standared BG-E2 grip? Save the extra money for a CF card or something more useful......

The only difference in the BG-E2N and the BG-E2 is a small strip of foam inside the battery door. You can go to a hobby shop and purchase a roll of this and install it yourself and still be money ahead.

This is just my thoughts

inst the BG-E2N larger as well cause the camera it was desgned for is. either way if i get a grip it will probably be the wireless transmitter.

Yeah i don't understand why canon would put an AF-ON button on the body, but not put one on the new grip... :confused: :confused: :confused:

You still have to do custom function 4-1 for the thumb AF when using the vertical grip.
