I think I might take the plunge and order from Sammys camera. My 20d has been freezing up and getting up on the clicks...not that I mind shooting with the Mark II, it's just I want the 40d, 17-40mm, 580ex, and grip, and I like to place it all as one order. I certainly feel like getting a Mark 2 and Flash instead, but thats me hehe. I just wish B&H would get some in so I could order it and get the weddigns and seniors safely with out as much worry.

ACDCRocks,
pardon me for going offtopic. But are you related with the site AC/DC rocks in any way?
I happen to be a great fan of AC/DC and a long time guitar player (and recently discovered a passion for photography, too). I have a lot of videos on youtube regarding AC/DC, replayed by me.

Sorry all for this slight off topic digression.

Oh. Gotcha :)

Alright. If you happen to still like AC/DC, you might like what I am trying to do on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=SoloDallas (external link)).

And yes, I'm ready for their return. I am one of those fans who can wait, I have nothing to complain. Nearly 40 here, I have grown up listening to them and feel I have been given a lot by their music in the years, already.

But it sure going to be good to get some more.

Again, sorry for going off topic.

Oh BTW, recently got an MKIII, so no 40D for me :P

How can you NOT get a 40D? According to Jessops here in the UK, the body alone has 6x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom!

In the bag: Canon EOS 350D | 18-55mm (kit) | 70-200mm f/4 L | 17-40mm f/4 L | 100mm f/2.8 USM macro | Speedlite 580EXII
In the pipeline: No idea. Suggestions?

Hey I know you now, It's nice talking to ya. Nice tone . Thanks for not just playing Back in Black, not that it's a bad song, it's jsut peopel think it's the only song they made for some odd reason. I still love AC/DC. I noticed Pink Floyd isn't the best when depressed. P.S. wheres the duck walk? ;)

Yeah, you certainly want a reliable camera if you're shooting a wedding. I don't even want to imagine having to explain to the couple and their family that your camera died on you.

I received my 40D from B&H yesterday and I'm in heaven. Coming from the XT it is a super sweet upgrade. But, dang, it smells bad

Hope you get yours soon :)

It's the rubber (obviously not something I was familiar with coming from the XT). Fortunately it doesn't last long, but the first whif I got... yuck

The 40D is a fun camera to use, not to mention, it is capable of taking some very nice shots in challenging conditions.

HAHAHHHA.

Duck walk? I'd surely fall face down. There's only ONE Angus, we both know that.

You take care :)
