Ideas of things to shoot (photo class help)

I am taking a course in photography (35mm black and white) with traditional darkroom processing (non c-41) and I am looking for ideas for things to shoot

My cameras are:

Canon Rebel GII with 35-80mm f/4-5.6 kitlens with a UV filter from the next cameras 50mm prime on it

Yashica FX7 with Yashica 50mm f2 prime and Tokina 80-200mm f/4 lens (I think I have to put it down a few steps for 200mm though) both have uv filters, and a cheap flash (I need to get a new exposure check meter battery though)

Now here are my requirements for my photos:
Different subjects (I can only take one close up of a flower, I can't switch plants and call it another photo but I could take a photo of a leaf or a whole plant and call it another photo)

I need 25 good shots (at least) out of my 36 exposure roll of film

All photos need to be taken outdoors in daylight...

Now my main concerns, will my 100ISO film be holding me back (should i exchange it for 200-400 ISO?)

I might fall short of ideas of things to photograph so can you give me some ideas of general things to take picture of? I normally have lots of creativity but I am sort of in a macro stage and the moment.

Oh and try to find things with good contrast for the B&W stuff. A lovely green field will just look like a sea of grey... But shove a bright white gate in there with dark clouds and you have a winner.

I used to do all my own B&W stuff, was great to have a darkroom!

Yea thanks for ideas... I will probably just look for random things to shoot... might go up to the bridge and take some shots overlooking the highway...

We also have a trail near by so i might go at dusk and take a shot looking down it....

I have a monopod which helps stability a lot too if i dont want to haul my tripod...

I would take a picture at dusk of the highway for a long exposure but we arent supposed to play with blur yet...

I used to shoot a lot of B+W film in the day and I enjoyed shooting subjects with texture. Find an old building, for e.g., with weathered shingles and the like. Also street shots make great B+W images; street performers, candid shots of people in cafes or in parks, etc. etc. Think shape, form, and texture and you'll do fine. You'll learn a lot from a course like that and it should be a lot of fun to boot.

I agree. I still enjoy shooting in B&W.
