I've been using Lightroom for a couple of months now. I just updated to 1.1 a few weeks ago and was hoping it would address some of the bugs.

While I like some the the changes and additions, I still have trouble sometimes with the Undo command -- I can be working along, no problems, having tweaked like 12-15+ photos, then seemingly all of a sudden, if I go to undo a change, it rips back through ALL the changes I've just made to the previous edits as well!

is this just a bug? anyone else seeing this as well?

If you want to undo the changes to only the photo on which you are working. Stepping back in history works. If you step back and then change a setting, all steps past the point you are at will be deleted.

Do you have multiple images selected and AutoSync turned on?

I've had the same problem with 1.0 and 1.1.

I think part of it may have to do with the somewhat unusual way LR handles multiple selections (it doesn't deselect them the same way many other applications do). I can't say that's it 100% of the time, though. I'll have to be more conscious of that the next time I'm playing around and see.

I know that if you select the "undo" from the title bar, it says "undo [Insert specific last action and not everything you just did ;)]" and certainly seems to suggest it's an undo for only one step and not everything, but I've still had it undo everything across multiple images.

I've had it happen times when I know I haven't chosen to synch images, so I don't think that's it.

FYI - I first moaned about undo problems back in March here:
