Hello all. Well, it's U9 Soccer time again in the great state of Texas. The boys moved up to a larger field and my 70-200 2.8 was struggling to keep up. Basically had to wait until the action came to me. Next time I will try using my 1.4 extender to see if I can still get a good deal of keepers. Oh, by the way, the Cyclones have changed colors for those of you that have critiqued my work in the past.

Have a look and tell me what you think.

5. Not technically the best photo but it's my boy and I like it.

Are they that good or that bad? I can take it. I'm just a soccer mom trying to get better.

I think the pictures are very good.

Looks like you shot from a low position which really helped. Focus looks excellent and the colors are nice.

I would have cropped the first image similar to how you cropped the second.

Not technically the best photo but it's my boy and I like it.

This is all that really matters :).

Thanks Matt. I normally plant myself right on the ground to shoot the boys on a tip from this board. Makes them look larger than life. I do not know why I didn't crop the little boy out of the first picture. I'll do that before I have them printed. I give the parents on my team freebies!

Thanks for looking. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Karman

Nice set of pictures, focus is good and the colours nice and clean.
The other Mum's will enjoy having pictures of the game.

Thanks deeeez. These boys move so fast, it's a miracle I can catch anything.
