Anyone else think that the 40D is going to be the biggest selling camera in history? Even the mighty BH Photo is out of stock.

Since they just come out with the LIVE LCD on the first two Canon SlR's in history, I wonder when they'll add the live video on there? The day Canon puts video in a DSLR is the day I switch to Nikon... John

While I agree with you somewhat, would you still switch to Nikon if they announced the same thing for their cameras 2 days later Canon 1DMKIII, 7D w/WFT-E5A, 40D modded with Baader filter, Celestron CPC1100, Astro-Tech AT8RC on a Celestron CGEM, some fast lenses, and some tripods...

Middle age is when you can finally afford the things that a young man could truly enjoy.

But anything that's possible will happen in the coming years...progression I guess. while I agree I did not think we would ever see a liveview feature either so lets not count it out Canon 1DMKII, 7D, 5DMKII, 1D MKII

Over the last 4 years with a DSLR Ive read over and over, Live view- thats compleatly stupid, this isnt a P&S, Auto ISO- I wouldnt use it who needs its I want total control, Yet those features will be on all the models with in the next 6 months. Give it a year and a half maybe 2 years and we will see video. 60D, Canon 18-135 IS, Sigma 10-20 hsm, 24-70 2.8 hsm, 70-200 2.8 hsm, 430EX II, and all the other stuff that goes along with it.
