Why I still like the 5D over the 40D...(Non-IQ related)

What I wonder is...what are the consequences (if any) of using E2 on a sensor that doesn't have a tin oxide coating?

If the consequences are basically nonexistent then that implies that when in doubt, use E2. But then, if that's the case then I would have expected Photosol to recommend E2 for the 5D.

my path has been 300d > 400d > 5d and the lenses listed below. I didnt expect to but i really am enjoying the huge viewfinder for MF. I also really like what the 5d does for shadows and having my 35L finally be a wide lens of sorts is great too.

I bought it used but under warranty, and the AF is a bit off,since the previous owner had it canon svc center calibrated to his 24L. So I am going to send it in and have it reset to factory specs, and then have my 35L set to it. When and if i can part with it....right now the thought of it being gone for two weeks is beyond me.
