This is a Fiddler Crab from Cherry Grove in South Carolina, US.. We were fishing for Blue Crab and the whole time these things where scurring(sp) about our feet like we were invading them. Watcha' think? As usual all C&C welcome. Rebel XT, 75-300mm at 300mm, f-7.1, 1/1600, iso 400. By the way these things are smaller then a US half dollar.

Crab is kinda small in frame and that white thing at right (sea shell?) is distracting. Perhaps if you cropped it out and filled the frame a little more with the crab.

I contemplated a while about that. In the end I was hoping the small seashell would give it some way to judge the size. Thanks for the input, I'll post another I'm working on now in a bit.

My son just walked in while I was looking at the original post. The first thing he said was "what's that shelly looking thing right there?", So much for the artsy thing! Thanks for the feed back.
