Can 30D print big size photo like : 20 X 30 or bigger ?

What size out there I can print bigger with 30D ?

If 30D can't do the job ...how about 5D ?

Thanks .

Get the plugin "Genuine Fractals", I've not used it but apparantly its the way to go. BTW, I think the 30D should have no problem printing that size.

This is common wisdom that has been passed on for years, and probably isn't valid any more. Photoshop works great. I once compared PS and GF and couldn't see any significant difference.

That's interesting, as you have experience with both products. I know that GF has been updated very recently and have this claim of 1000% or so increase in size WITHOUT loss of detail... I will look into this more.

I tried it a year or so ago. You can't great information that isn't there, and generally you don't need to anyway, because of viewing distances with large prints.

I have printed several 20x30 prints taken with a 30D. Obviously it helps if you can use the whole image instead of cropped portion of an image. Still very sharp even though like was mentioned, large prints are usually viewed from a distance.

I just ordered a 45" print from Nulab, I did a single step upsize in Photoshop using the bicubic smoother. This is for my office, where customers sit 2 meters/6 feet away. I see no need for anything other than photoshop.
