Any news on when the next wave of Canon rebates will be offered? It seems they happen about every 6 months. Think that will happen before Christmas '07?

I hope not, I need a break lol.

To answer your question yes Canon usually has Fall rebates. I'd think we'd hear about them soon...

From past rebates I'd say October 15th. Here's the links to the last two rebates One from October 15th and one from this last May 17th. They load a little slow but are fun to look at

the 85L and the 135L are looking like prime suspects to me this fall... So hopefully rebates will be announced soon.

yep, I'm holding out on buying a 85L used because with the B&H discount codes that run through November and the Canon rebates hopefully comming in October that puts the 85L at $1614 US (if the Canon rebate is $100)

I just rented a 135L from lensrentals.com. The lens I rented is mint. That same lens is now on their homepage for a really great price....I'm sure it's much less expensive than what the rebate will net you.....Just a thought, i am not affiliated with them
