Just wondering if anyone has the Modulus Speed Kit made by Think Tank and how it was working out for you.

Thanks

I am getting in tomorrow the Lens changer 75 pop down and lens changer 50 which can attach to the speed kit. I'm actually looking to create my own speed kit to attach to my backpacks (Vertex and Sling) and Domke F3x. Hopefully it works out but the speed kit from my understanding is just a belt with a set of attachments.

Thanks for the response. I am going on a trip shortly and was thinking of the speed kit with the belt and a couple of the changers. Looks like it would be easier that lugging a bag around. Just looking for someone else's input.

I always go on trips but the problem with the speedkit (or any kit belt type harness type system) is that when you're roaming around, museums, sightseeing, you don't want to look like a photographer. I know, the camera is a dead giveaway, but with the waistbelt, the pouches hanging from your belt, the bag from your belt, you would look like batman and his utility belt.

My backpack on the other hand, or the domke bags, is that it still looks like a bag/backpack and I would have a couple of attachments which I can attach to it for "speedier" switching of lens and if, I don't want to use it anymore, I would then put those changers into my bag. Less things dangling from me, the more you blend in.

I use the Think Tank belt system and love it. I can carry all I need for a day shooting, not cripple my shoulder and have quick access to any thing in my kit. Lens changes are easy.

I have a TT belt system and a Kinesis belt system. The TT one is the one that gets used. Very well thought out. Highly recommended.

I love my think tank system!i picked up the 20 holster when it first came out, fits my 70-200 or my 10-20 mounted on my 30D without any problem.

I know this thread is a little old, but I've been using the Think Tank system for over a year now on a professional basis and I absolutely love it. I've shot 10 hour long events with it on and it's very comfortable, and makes my life a LOT easier (especially lens changes).

HIGHLY recommended.

PS - if you are in Canada, I bought mine at Henry's and it was cheaper than the US. Not sure about now, but worth checking.

I'm hoping to get this soon. I'm certain it'll be useful for shooting events and sports. I have a feeling it'll be useful for hiking also, along with a Digital Holster.

Best belt system I ever used, when it comes to carrying gear for sports events it can't be beat. I just went on their site and looks like they changed the options around a bit. The one I got was a six piece set and came with everything I needed except the Whip It Out for my 70-200. This is for the SMl http://www.samys.com/product_detail.php?item=2548 (external link)
