Cool shots! Number 5 I don't like so well because the background is rather distracting... What is that building that they're playing up against anyway? They must be quite close to it for it to have survived in the background so well.

Field hockey is a really strange sport when you try and follow it, I've found.

Ah the wall.... I guess I didn't really even notice it because I was so glad to see all the construction crude and porta-lets gone. I guess it is all relative. But yes, it is a retaining wall, and not the best background in the world.

The worst thing about this field is the horrible color of the turf. It makes all shots look like they have wb issues.

Thanks for the comment and Cheers.

Still taking amazing sports shots I see. I need to branch out and take some other sports like this one.

Good stuff, Mark. I've never seen the sport played but these images make me want to look for a match nearby someday. I'm almost certain I coundn't keep up with the action well enough to shoot it but the game looks like it would be fun to watch.

Jerry ~ Baseball is a game where only defensive players handle the ball and offensive players who hit successfully in only one third of their at bats are among the best in the sport.

Well, thanks all for the comments. As is normally the case, after coming back to these a few days later, I don't like them anymore. I pretty much don't PS my stuff at all anymore, so can't do much about that.... but the crops could have been a heck of a lot more creative. Hate to admit it but I got a little lazy on these and it shows in the end product.

Jerry, you should make out to a game... it is painful as all you know what to watch. Crunched over like that for everything. But it is unique, and a good sport to check out sometime.
