Mate if you're happy with a 30D then that's just great. But believe me it's not just down to quality - I own both and let me tell you the 40D is a better all round DSLR and a worthy upgrade. The improved AF is worth the cost alone imo!

I used to be a happy owner of 30D for the last 10 months.. until 3 days ago....
But due to some unknown reason ( maybe my stupidity) I put an ads in a local forum and my mint about 10k shutter 30D count was sold within a day..... I'm still in doubt whether this is a good move.....
I was hoping a better and accurate AF, 10MP sensor, 3" LCD on 40D over my 30D are making my sudden urge a good move...... and worst, 40D will be launched in 2 weeks time in my country.... and the lust over 5D and 1Dmkii is unbearable... (only thing stopping me is my pocket)
