Hello!
Wow, this is my first actual started thread in the "Photo Sharing" section!
My best friend, Annette, needed a photo for an audition she's planning on attending and called me up. We came out with this, shot with a Rebel XT with the 70-200 F/4L. C&C appreciated! :)

1st and last are the best, not a big fan of the b&w conversion done, lovely eyes!

Like wise First and Last.
On the B & W her eyes get lost plus the hair looses it's softness

Very nice.
1st pic is dead on, but may need a bit more sharpening on her eyes and mouth/lips.
The B&W is too high in contrast, unless you like no detail in the hair.

I'm in SoCal too, so when can we get together and do a shoot of her together?

Thanks for the comments, guys! I think I need to set Photoshop with a different color display because the b&w looks a lot different when I open it up. Will work on the harshness and sharpening the eyes/mouth, though. A lot of people we work with tell her she reminds them of "The Corpse Bride," so she'd thank you for not saying that. ;)

The first picture is stunning. Although I am a huge fan of black and white, it just doesn't do her justice. What a beautiful lady!!! Jeeze! And I also wouldn't mind knowing what she is auditioning for, if you don't mind sharing! Great pics.

BRITT-ANY, thanks! I took a couple b/w film shots of her also for my photo project at school. Developing those into negatives today! I can't share any audition details, though, because we'd both get fired :(. I've been playing around with #1 some more:

The first is very pleasing but you should have left it as it was whilst you were ahead :)
