I am considering buying a used 20D with kit lens but I'm not sure which lens came with the 20D. Is this lens IS?

My 20D came with the 18-55 EF-S lens which I promptly sold. I don't know if it was sold with any other "kit" lenses or not. Why not just buy the body and then pick out a lens that best for what you want to shoot.

I seem to remember seeing, at various times 18-55 EF-S, 18-55 EF-S USM (not sure if it was available in the U.S.) and 17-85 IS USM as "kit" lenses for the 20D. Probably the most prevalent is the 18-55 non-USM.

mine was an 18-55 non usm, pretty sure the 17-85 "kits" were body only and that lens sold together not a true kit from canon
