great composition on this one, i love the eyes on the mantis, on another forum one guy was experimenting that at night the eyes change color completely to adapt to the dark. its pretty interesting to see.

That is pretty neat....just the other night there were 3 preying mantis on my front porch having dinner, but I couldn't take any pictures. they were pretty small though. Do you really have this one as a pet or just know where to always find it outside?

yes i have him as a pet..i bought him 2 weeks ago as a 1inch baby..its a giant asian mantis..there the largest of the prey mantis growing for 1 year..after about year it sheds for the last time and finaly gets his or her wings..i feed it stuff fomr my garden once every 2 days..he or she will get very big some get as big as 10-15cm with fat bodys..great for amcro work and this is the only reson i bought it.il get u some mroe pics ok..:)
