Litoria citropa has a distribution which stops around Newcastle. There are also some shape differences between these two species which makes me believe it is L. fallax. L. fallax has a narrower nose. It is also very common for L. fallax to have this colour pattern, though most of the photos you see are green, as they are very pretty when they are pure green.

Here are some of my shots of this species, you can see the variability in their colour. Which makes colour a bad means of identification for small tree frogs.
