nice shots, i just posted one not too long ago of the bug in number one. good to see a real close up of it, the skin looks almost transparent.

Yes he is :)
Not sure on the ID- also looks similar to the first one in that gallery.
I sent him an email with a link to your pbase pic. He's always interested in bark fly pics (apparently they are calling them bark flies now rather than bark lice to improve their image :) )

{EDIT} Update from Bob- apparently it's not a bark fly but he has no idea what it is !
