the duck shot is a must so I've attached a 100% crop of one I snapped, not a good pic but I know a duck shot is a must.
this was shot with my sigma 70-300, which I know isnt a stunning lens but I was suprised the shot looked as soft as it does.
The camera is great, feels much better, big screen and larger view finder are fantastic.
Now, I dont know if its just me as I dont have my 350 anymore, but I felt I had to use a higher iso than I used to.
I tried to shoot my son as he ran towards me but the shutter speed was 1/25 at iso 400, f8. the sun was just setting but i thought I still would have had enough light to get a good shutter speed. I was shooting in av.
another one was a shot of my son in the kitchen, we have double doors which was letting in quite strong sun light, i shot at 2.8 iso 400 and the shutter was 1/50, again i expected more.
I know its probably me expecting too much from the camera but I tried not to increase the iso on the 350d if I could help to avoid the noise.
I need to play more as Im still learning a lot and Im sure I will learn more with this camera.
feel free to rip me apart for my poor assumptions/lack of knowledge
