I bet he wishes he was;) Spotted him flying about in the grass and lo and behold he had obviously flown into a web and escaped but with the spider still attached. Had the MPE-65 on and i just managed to get this one shot.

Thank you bobster very much appreciated. The crane fly struggled on for quite a while about 5 minutes before finally giving in. The spider must have had quite a ride:D.

It's marvellous how the crane fly survived for so long. You only normally have to look at one and a leg falls off...
