First time trying night shots so keep that in mind. I had the porchlite on so I could focus. Also he built his web on a diagonal so I couldn't really get the position I wanted without messing up his web. He's having a bit of dinner.

C&C welcome of course.

He's a good size spider, so dof was hard to get at this angle.

Forty something views and no comments. Hmmm, I know there are not great at all, but I didn't think they were that bad for shooting in the dark.

What's a night shot supposed to look like?
There's a porchlite about 3 feet to the left and I used my flash.
With out the porchlite on I couldn't even see him, I just barely could see him with it on.
Thanks for the comments though.
Would you happen to have any advice on doing better next time?
I've never tried shooting in the dark before.;)
