Thank you for your comment Brian. I live in near Johannesburg in South Africa. It is now the begining of summer here, so our 'bugs' are just starting to appear and I hope to be able to post a lot of things which will be different and interesting for everyone. This it the caterpillar of a butterfly which I will post a picture of later.

Thanks Valerie. He is only about 1 1/2 inches long so not so scary after all!! I wouldn't want to see what they could do with it in movie though!!:D
