so i bought a 24-70L-- what a lens!
here is a shot i took with it at a golf match today. its not tak sharp or anything, but thats because i had the camera above my head....i am gonna give it a good workout tomorrow at a volleyball match.

For most, the 85mm f/1.8 is unbeatable for volleyball, but I think you may be onto something with the zoom if you have the light to use f/2.8 effectively.

I love the 24-70 but the 85 1.8 is just awsome. It can be a bit frustrating due to the very shallow DOF but the keepers . . . wow!! Name: Kevin
