After a couple hundred test shots in my back yard, I determined that my Al Servo was not working properly. I had a replacement camera sent to me and now look what I get! Oh.....so nice!

I was gonna buy a 40D, but I think I'm gonna get a 40D after reading this thread. I figure for the same money, why the hell not? No brainer. Can someone compare a 40D @ ISO3200 vs a 40D @ ISO3200 before I finally pull the trigger?

TBH I think it has all ready been proven there is very very little difference in ISO noise, Personally I think the ISO noise is a fraction less on a 40D, BUT you have to be spot on with focus, exposure, ETC. it you are not it gets worse than a 30D very quick, a lot less Tolerance to play with on High ISO on a 40D, due to I guess more MP

But it is the other major differences over the 30D v 40D that makes it a fair bit better camera, especially if you shoot sports, and the extras on the camera.

did you use right hand focus point? or all?

Roy Mathers, dude you really need to chill out... are you an accountant? this thread if you read it at the start is for 40d people to show some stuff that they have taken without the constant... mines as good as yours or better bs...

just chill and enjoy the pics....

But this is one of the best bird shots I have ever seen, and I not to sure a 300D would have got this either????
