After a couple hundred test shots in my back yard, I determined that my Al Servo was not working properly. I had a replacement camera sent to me and now look what I get! Oh.....so nice!

TBH I think it has all ready been proven there is very very little difference in ISO noise, Personally I think the ISO noise is a fraction less on a 40D, BUT you have to be spot on with focus, exposure, ETC. it you are not it gets worse than a 30D very quick, a lot less Tolerance to play with on High ISO on a 40D, due to I guess more MP Photographic Images on Brett Butler
