I usually don't like stubbly pits, but I find this image strangely alluring. Well done! Doesn't make me want to upgrade to a 40D though just yet. Makes me want to get a new razor perhaps?:D

The yellow effect was intentional. I was trying out a Cokin blue/yellow polarizer. As far as the highlight recovery, I'm workin on it!:D Thanks for the input.

I have had my 40D since last Wednesday and have yet to shoot a single photo with it (been busy with work). I should get a few shots over the weekend.

I haven't had a chance to do any "real world" shots with my 40D even though I have had it almost 2 weeks now. I have a couple of "around-the-house" shots that I like and don't mind sharing - I will try to upload those this weekend. I'll also contribute to the respective lens image archives :)
