Help me choose the ring shot

We're going through the 1500 photos from our wedding and I need some help choosing the ring shot. Beach weding in Miami hence the sand. There was an excellent old lock and key we found which is why it's in some of the pics. I know the diamond is a bit blown but that's easy enough to fix with some PP (Val's a graphic designer).

Open to any comments and suggestions/preference​s.

I think they are all a bit busy, the attention is not directly on the rings. But out of the ones shows I would say the first one

Hmm....too busy. Ok, I have options. Maybe a better crop on the first one? or a B&W conversion? I'm a bit stuck.

I agree somewhat with Song, I think the second shot would be way cool if you selectively colored the rings, then they would really pop. Also would have helped if you were a fraction further away...because the focus is off on the diamond. Pretty rings!

Focus is no problem with some PP. If I selectively colour the rings I'll get flamed by all the pros!

The shot was taken further back and I've cropped it down. Thanks for your comments.

I am a pro and I am not flaming you...Just try it. If I worried about what all the pros think all the time I would have thrown my camera in the ocean years ago.

No, I totally get your point, that was a dig at some of the other guys on here that know how much I like selective colouring. Most of the 'big-guns' can't stand it and I often swim against the stream when giving feedback to selective colouring. I'll do a quick one and see what it looks like.

Gotcha...they pick on me alot too. I find my customers just love my work and at first I would start telling them well it's not so good or this or that is wrong with it and they just looked at me with puzzled expressions. So while I value and continue learn from the wisdom of the Pros, I also value my freedom to do it however I want to, and though it isn't always perfect or right to standards, I still win awards, make money and am happy with happy customers.

I love the selective one!!! I told you!!!

I think the first one and crop out the lower shell that is creeping in and get the rings a bit more lower right of the frame vs dead center.

None really works for me. I like simple:

I love the selected one, draws the focus right to the rings.

My nitpick about this one is that the big diamond isn't in focus. If it's big, it's expensive, it should be in focus!
