A couple I haven't photographed previously this year. Shot with 75-300 (semi) macro tele, a male migrant hawker. Autofocus.

and another, also autofocus...

and (probably) one of the previous two in flight, I got lucky here - this is about 3/4 full frame and if he'd come any closer he'd have been too close to focus. Manual focus.

and my first ruddy darter of the year. This one was sooooo skittish. Shot with Sigma 105 macro. He deserved better but it was his own fault.

C&C appreciated.

Wonderful shots Mike - the in-flight hawker is truly excellent. Shot of the Ruddy is pretty good too :-)

Wonderful shots Eccles
The in flight shot is perfect got enough wing blur to show motion though I guess it would take a very high shutter speed to freeze the wings
I have not seen as many migrants as last year is that the case down south too ?

Thanks all. @Pete, migrants are a bit late this year but I've seen a few around the last couple of weeks with the good weather.

Great shots again eccles.

I think the DIF is my favourite - but it's a close call...
