and (probably) one of the previous two in flight, I got lucky here - this is about 3/4 full frame and if he'd come any closer he'd have been too close to focus. Manual focus.

and my first ruddy darter of the year. This one was sooooo skittish. Shot with Sigma 105 macro. He deserved better but it was his own fault.

never seen one of them land yet were i go to shoot them, always flying, and getting really close to me that I can't focus (70-300)
